I joined zooplus two years ago to take over the company’s collaboration tools, mainly Jira, Confluence and Slack. From the first day, I could see that the work environment is really motivating and challenging, every day interesting conversations arise with our colleagues, learning new things and developing new skills. The company fosters a culture of freedom where I can work autonomously and develop my own solutions, I find this fact really motivating because I am a creative person. In addition, my colleagues are all really amazing, I love to spend time with them, it helps me to learn and develop new skills and many days we share a beer at the end of the day. Without a doubt, zooplus is the company in which I have most enjoyed working and in which I have developed the most professionally.

Before I joined zooplus in 2016, I have had very few opportunities to code in a professional environment. Nowadays, I have gained hands-on experience with dev, ops, and quality practices as from the very beginning, I have found at zooplus an enriching and flexible environment where I can learn, share, and challenge my knowledge constantly. This environment, plus the strive of zooplus to make the staff more diverse, definitely make me want to stay in zooplus for a long time.

I moved to Madrid and joined zooplus in November 2016 as software developer in Loyalty team, just when I finished my Bachelor's degree. I have grown and evolved with my team all these years, learning from awesome and professional colleagues, many of them women (a close-to-be unique scenario in our sector). What I really love of zooplus is the possibility we have to change things and choose with who you want to work with, because in our recruitment process, the team is always involved. I like the international environment and the direct and daily collaboration across the teams in the company.

The main personal goal I had, since entered the labor market, has always been finding a working environment where sharing ideas and thoughts was something that really matters, where it would be something encouraged and supported. That`s what I found joining Zooplus! Working in Zooplus means being part of a dynamic and multicultural environment, where each day you can leave the office conscious to have learnt something new. For me, Zooplus is an opportunity worth to be lived.

I’ve been in zooplus Spain for almost 6 years, and WOW, how time flies here. I joined the team when it was decided to put a local office in Madrid and I can say that I have been able to see how we’ve grown, we started being a few and now we a lot – and still much to grow. I am the Office & Administration Manager for the Spanish Office. The good thing about zooplus is that we are a Corporate company with a “Startup” attitude and that’s what makes it cool to work here.
