What's this role about:
In this role you will have the opportunity to be working in the construction of a cutting-edge Big Data product that will be core for the success of zooplus. A wonderful and exciting challenge.
You will integrate into a high-performance experienced agile team (using Scrum plus other agile methods) that is building our Data Lake from the ground up in the cloud (AWS). You would drive the technical architecture of the system, assisting the rest of the team, representing the team in front of stakeholders, and covering the whole ecosystem of Big Data technologies (Spark, EMR, Kinesis, S3, Parquet, Aurora, Glue, Lamdba, Athena and others).

What you will be responsible for:
What we are looking for:
To work together in an optimal way in this position, we wish your qualifications to include
BS/M. Tech in Computer Science or related field
Experience building Data Lakes in similar size companies
Solid distributed systems knowledge, including software architecture and advanced SQL skills
Expertise in Big Data and DWH/ETL best practices
Experience working with data technologies in Amazon Web Services. AWS Certification is a plus.
Comfortable with the idea of cross-functional teams
