As Regional Delivery Experience Manager for Cluster South- West, containing Spain, Portugal, Italy, The Netherlands and the UK, you will be part of an international role with high expectations from and exposure to senior management within Operations as well as the whole organization. As part of the Delivery Experience team, the mission of the Regional Delivery Experience Manager is to manage the Delivery Experience Managers and Last Mile Coordinators in the cluster and build the bridge between Operations and Sales and become the customer’s voice within the operations department.

Key responsibilities:

  • Represent the Head of Delivery Experience towards your team members
  • Lead strategic projects jointly with your team
  • Set the agenda and balance resource allocation for an array of projects within your team
  • Manage day-to-day employee administration (sick leave, travel approvals, etc.)
  • Train, develop, and motivate your team
  • Take the project and ideas of your team and yourself and drive their implementation
  • Raise concerns and escalate for your team to the Head of Delivery Experience
  • Develop team strategy and make sure that this is in line with the overall zooplus strategy
  • Participate in weekly leadership/strategy meetings and share insights and updates with your team
  • Be the driver for innovations: motivate and challenge your team to think out of the box and to identify new approaches

Requirements

  • Graduate degree or equivalent in relevant discipline.
  • Plus 5 years of experience working in a highly customer oriented and challenging logistics-based business, with significant experience in logistics services. Experience in ecommerce would be a plus, as well experience working in international teams.
  • Solid people management skills.
  • Deep knowledge of the Last Mile market.
  • High analytical competence and advanced IT skills including MS Excel.
  • Problem-solving, self-driven and result-oriented way of working.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish, either European languages ( Italian, Dutch,..) considered a plus.
  • Willingness to travel.
