Senior Product Manager Declaration Support (f/m/d)

The Own Brands Product Management is the function that deals with the planning, management and control of brands / products during the product life cycle from market maturity to market exit. The Product Management Team is in the driver seat for the successful development of each Own Brand.

This role is managing the design artwork process across all brands and categories, in close cooperation with the Brand Managers.


Your responsibilities in this role:

  • Management and development of Own Brands packaging in terms of product declaration: in close cooperation with the Product Expert team on a regulatory base as well as across the Product Management Teams (for the respective brands).
  • Responsibility for coordinating and supporting the artwork process between all stakeholders.
  • Develop user manuals for our multi-language packaging.
  • Manage files backup and switch-overs to different suppliers.
  • Handling of declaration templates and management of over 20 different languages for ideal implementation on the packaging.
  • Close cooperation and alignments with the Group PM’s (for respective brands) as well as Teamleads Purchasing, Product Development & Quality Management, Sales and Pricing.
  • Optimisation of processes and definition of task planning within the team.
  • Takeover and control of internal departmental projects.
  • Team leadership and development as well as professional coaching, disciplinary and professional leadership of senior, professional and junior product managers.


Requirements

  • University degree in economics preferably with a focus on business administration / marketing
  • Fundamental professional experience in product management in FMCG, retail or pet food
  • Experience in the independent support and development of brands and private labels
  • Experience in cooperation with international interfaces
  • Profound knowledge in dealing with the relevant marketing processes and their levers of a retailer, ideally e-commerce
  • Profound analytical skills combined with a passion for numbers and large data volumes
  • Very good command of written and spoken English, further foreign language skills are an advantage
  • (First) disciplinary or professional management experience
